SmartBuild 1-78 Release Notes

New Features

  • Scissor Trusses

    • There is now the ability to set the bottom chord profile for scissor trusses which will act like other trusses in the system with 3-d rendering and truss library pricing

    • Gable trusses have more flexibility to allow only gables to be scissor trusses, or the gables can be standard while the rest are scissor, and these can be set for the front and back gables separately

  • Smartbuild Viewer Only Tool

    • For any job, SmartBuild can create a ‘view only’ URL link that can be sent to anyone

    • The web link will display a page to allow a potential customer to view and rotate the 3-d model with no editing capabilities

  • If no openings Styles then do not show Style options

    • If you do not use opening Styles, then the flow of adding doors and windows has been changed to match more how it worked in the past.

    • If there are no styles then when you click on a type of opening to input, it will default to the first opening on the list for quick input.

    • (We have a task next release to allow you to order the opening lists for input)

  • Remember Toggle Landscape

    • The site will now remember if you have the white background or landscape background and will remember that next time you open up a job

    • This will be reflected on the ‘Print’ output so you can output a building image with either the white or the landscape background, this can be used for Starting Models and Emodeler also

  • A powerful Search field has been added to the Setup Wizard main grid for all material types

  • You can now easily synch all Builder’s Vendor SKU’s with the Supplier SKU’s

  • Builders can now upload and download trusses to maintain the final price of the trusses in their system 

    • This will not affect the cost/price of the Suppliers trusses, only thel cost and price that the Build quotes to their customers

  • BUG FIX-Roof Sheathing Missing w shed roof to a main building that only travels partial length

  • BUG FIX-Door in Right Wall of Cant Porch Sticks out of Building

  • BUG FIX-Negative Slab Offset not applying to attached buildings

  • BUG FIX-Lean-Tos or attached buildings with shallow  slope roof can cause extra girts to be added
